These last few months I've been somewhat more active.
I knew I needed to catch up to get myself at the skill level I want.
I'm drawing a lot but not many of them are worth putting here.
I had a long hard look at all my recent finished art, and most of them are sepia-tinged!
Granted most of the time the pastel crap is gone... but it's always brownish in overall tone.
Am I turning old? Color blind? Is this what geriatric art therapy looks like?
Next challenge: Must not resort to brown canvas tone! ARGH!

I had a good look at my work from circa 2001-2011 and realized that I've been (unintentionally) using predominantly pastelly, muted shade of color, for absolutely no reason other than personal preference.
This gotta change. This is 2011. I gotta be brave and bold.
From now on, no more pastelly shit!
Gotta do something different!

I got over it I guess. Grown out of it.
And I guess I will never be Japanese so why bother. Ahem!
